The course runs flat through Parsippany, starting on Sylvan Way. There is no water stop on the route itself, but water is available at the finish. Duck Donuts from the nearby Route location are at the finish area, which tends to draw the post-race crowd. The shorter distance is dog-friendly, so expect leashes in the mix.
Packet pickup runs the morning before the race at the Duck Donuts location in Whippany, with race-morning pickup available as a backup. The race benefits Toys for Tots, and organizers ask runners to bring an unwrapped toy. The event goes off rain or shine.
