About the Dubois Turkey Trot
This is a Thanksgiving morning race in Du Bois that benefits the local Salvation Army, with proceeds going toward food, clothing, and utility help for neighbors in need. Runners are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item on race day. Prizes go to the top finishers in both the men's and women's fields, and there is an onsite clock, though results are not posted online afterward.
The start is outside the Best Western Du Bois Hotel. Walkers head out a few minutes after the runners do, so the course sees a spread of paces throughout the morning.
