About the Dublin Pet Fair 5K Race

The course starts and finishes at the Dublin Rec Center, passing through Indian Run Meadows Park before looping back at a nature reserve along the route. The surroundings are green and park-like through most of the way out and back.

The race is attached to a full pet fair, so the finish area is busy. Rescue organizations bring adoptable animals, there are vendor booths, flying disc dog demonstrations, a pet parade, and food trucks. It is a working animal welfare event, not just a backdrop.
