About the Dublin Irish Festival 5K & Kids Dash
The course runs out and back through the historic district, so the finish stretch has spectators lining both sides. The whole thing feels more like the opening act of a festival weekend than a standalone road race, and that is essentially what it is. The evening start keeps the heat manageable and gives the route a different character than a morning race.
After you finish, the party is already going. Food vendors are set up nearby, a brewery has a beverage tent, and a live band plays into the evening. IDs are checked for alcohol. Packet pickup details were not something shared here, but the post-race setup is worth building time around.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a decent-sized field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The Dublin Irish Festival 5K & Kids Dash has been held every year since at least 2011. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
