About the 9th Annual Doylestown Jingle Bell Turkey Trot 5k, 10k, 2 Mile Reindeer Run/Walk & Li'l Elves Kids' Run
The race starts and finishes at Delaware Valley University, so parking is right there and the start area has indoor space available when the weather turns cold. Runners show up in holiday costumes and ugly sweaters, and jingle bells go on every pair of shoelaces. The course covers roads in and around the campus, and the kids' run goes off first, so families stay busy from the start.
Packet pickup the evening before at the same university location is strongly encouraged, though race-morning pickup is available if you need it. After the race, a DJ keeps things going at the finish, and there is hot chocolate with whipped cream and beer at the post-race party. A costume contest and awards ceremony round out the morning.
