About the Downtown Jingle 5K
The course runs through Centreville Bank Stadium in Pawtucket, finishing through a holiday lights display inside the stadium. The race goes off in the late afternoon, so by the time runners are crossing the line, it is dark enough for the lights to do their job. It reads more like a seasonal event built around a race than the other way around.
Packet pickup runs on the two days before the race at a running store inside a Providence mall, with a shorter window available at the stadium on race day itself. A toy drive for Toys for Tots runs alongside packet pickup. After finishing, runners head inside the stadium for holiday entertainment.
