The DoLittle runs on a certified road course that the organizers describe as essentially pancake flat, built for speed rather than scenery-hunting. The route is designed so that supporters can catch a runner at multiple points along the way before moving to the finish, which makes it unusual for spectators who want to actually follow someone through a race.
