About the Divot Dash 5K Run/Walk "Fore the Cause"
The course runs through Green Oaks Golf Course on natural surfaces, weaving past fairways, bunkers, ponds, and greens. It is the kind of terrain that feels different from a road race, with grass and turf underfoot and the open layout of a golf course around you. The route stays fully within the course, so there are no road crossings to navigate.
After the race, there is a DJ and cider and donuts in the finish area, which gives the morning a relaxed end point for people waiting on friends or family to come through.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a small, friendly field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The Divot Dash 5K Run/Walk "Fore the Cause" has been held every year since at least 2024. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
