About the Ditmars Wine Run 5k

The course runs through Ditmars Orchard and Vineyard, starting and finishing at the winery. It loops twice over cross-country terrain, so expect uneven ground underfoot rather than pavement. The surroundings are the draw: you are running through a working orchard and vineyard, and the landscape reflects that.

Packet pickup is race morning only, beginning before the start, so no separate trip the day before is needed. After finishing, the farm itself has plenty to explore, and there is wine at the finish area.
