About the Discover Downtown Columbia 5K/10K

The race starts and finishes at Colorburst Park, inside the Merriweather District, so you begin and end on the same stretch of downtown Columbia. The surrounding district gives it an urban feel without a lot of traffic chaos, and the course is open to all paces.

Strollers, pets, skates, and bikes are not permitted on the course, so the field stays foot-traffic only. The park sits in the Merriweather District, which is easy enough to navigate if you have spent any time downtown.
