The course takes you through the Dingess Tunnel, a railroad tunnel cut through a mountain long before any runner ever set foot in it, then out onto roads and trails that wind through the surrounding hills. The terrain is mixed, so expect pavement to give way to trail at points, with the landscape doing most of the talking.
