The course is a certified out-and-back with real hills, so you feel the climb on the way out and earn the downhill on the way back. It is not a flat course, and the elevation keeps it honest for a shorter distance.
After finishing, runners can use the pool. There is also food, fruit, and drinks set out at the finish area.
