About the Detroit Women's Half Marathon
Belle Isle sits in the Detroit River, and the courses wind through the park's roads starting and finishing near a large fountain. The terrain stays flat the whole way. After you cross the finish, there is a post-race party with acai bowls from the presenting sponsor.
Packet pickup is the day before at Eastern Market, where local vendors and race merchandise are also available. Race-morning pickup exists but runs short on time. Entering Belle Isle by car requires a Michigan Recreation Passport; a shuttle from the Renaissance Center is an option for anyone who wants to avoid the bridge backup.
