About the Derby Days 5K
The course starts in a church parking lot, heads out along a highway heading east, then turns north onto a rural road before looping back the same way to finish where it started. The terrain is straightforward road running, flat through open surroundings with no significant climbing.
Packet pickup opens on race morning in the same parking lot where the race starts. Water is available along the route, and there are snacks at the finish. Age group awards are presented after the race wraps up.

The Derby Days 5K has been held every year since at least 2016. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
