About the Delanco River Run

The course runs along the Delaware River on a certified route that is flat and fast, with the water alongside for most of it. Gateway Park sits at the entrance to town near the Rancocas Creek Bridge, so the surroundings feel genuinely riverfront rather than just a park loop. Dogs on leash are welcome, and costumes are encouraged, which gives the morning a loose, unhurried character.

The race is put on by the Delanco Women's Civic Club, with proceeds going to local families and school programs. Food and drinks are set out after the finish.
