About the Dead of Summer 6K

The course starts and finishes at Death Ridge Brewery and winds through a cross country course on the Verdun Adventure Bound property. Terrain shifts between close-cut grass, wooded trail, and groomed cross country paths, with enough rolling hills to keep things honest. There are a couple of bridged stream crossings, and if you are paying attention, you may spot emu and a zebra grazing on a neighbor's land nearby.

The brewery is at the finish, so there is no hunting for a post-race spot. Proceeds support Verdun Adventure Bound, a local nonprofit that runs youth and adult programs on the same property the course passes through.
