About the DC Estate Wine Run 5k

The course runs through the grounds of a family-owned winery, so the surroundings are vineyard and open landscape rather than roads and sidewalks. It is a timed race with age group awards, but plenty of people come mostly for what is waiting at the finish: a pour of wine.

Packet pickup is on race morning, starting about an hour before the first wave goes out. A food truck is planned for the finish area, though the vendor details were still being finalized when this was written.
