About the Dawson Lake Dash
The course runs around Dawson Lake inside Moraine View State Park, a road loop through rolling terrain with the lake nearby. It draws runners alongside walkers and dogs, so the atmosphere on course is loose and unhurried. Proceeds go to a local humane society, which gives the whole morning a pretty clear sense of purpose.
Bib pickup is available the day before at a running store in Bloomington, with race-morning pickup at the park as well. Registration also opens at the park before the start.
