Dawson, MN
The race starts in front of the city building and offers a short trot alongside a longer run, both on what feels like a neighborhood Thanksgiving morning outing. The event is organized alongside a local arts association, which gives it a community-gathering quality beyond a typical holiday race.
Packet pickup and start logistics happen right at the city building, so there is no hunting for a separate venue on a cold holiday morning.
