About the Dawg Daze 5k
The course runs on a paved trail through Milan City Park, starting and finishing at the park office. It is a road race on a dedicated trail, so you are not sharing the road with traffic. The race raises money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, which gives the morning a clear sense of purpose beyond the finish line.
After the race, there are refreshments and a door prize drawing at the park. Awards go to overall winners and age group podium finishers across several categories.
