About the Dash and Drink for Pink 5k and 1 Mile Run/Walk
The course starts and finishes at Canteen Brewhouse, following a paved trail corridor in an out-and-back shape. The terrain is flat. This one is built around a cause: all proceeds go to Pink Warrior House, which supports women in Albuquerque battling breast cancer. A raffle after the race uses your bib as your ticket.
The brewery's beer garden is open before and after the race, with pink beer on tap and root beer available for those who want it. Food and additional drinks are available for purchase inside. Packet pickup runs the evening before the race, and there is a tie-dye station set up at that event.
