About the Danish Dash 5K Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run

The course starts on Faber Street near an elementary school and works its way through Tower Park, past Manoka Lake, around Baldwin Lake, and by hop fields before finishing with a gradual climb up Marvel Drive. It is a scenic morning route with water on both sides and a gentle push at the end to earn the finish. A shorter kids course covers the same starting stretch and welcomes strollers.

The race runs the same weekend as the Greenville Danish Festival parade, so the start area has a festive backdrop before the crowds gather. Both courses begin and end on the same street, which makes it easy for families running different distances to meet up after.
