About the Dandelion Run - 5k / 10k Trail Race
The course runs through natural wooded terrain at Camp Mount Luther, outside Mifflinburg. Runners choose on race morning whether to do a single loop or add a second, so the field covers a wide range of effort levels. The setting is named for a pastor who loved dandelions, and that quiet detail gives the whole morning a particular character.
A kids fun run runs alongside the main event, so there are often younger children and families near the start area. Post-race awards happen right after the finish, which keeps the crowd together a bit longer than most small trail races.
