About the D&L RaceFest
The marathon and half marathon both run point-to-point along the D&L Trail beside the Lehigh River, finishing where the Delaware and Lehigh Rivers meet in downtown Easton. The surface alternates between fine gravel and paved trail sections, and the route loses elevation gradually the whole way, making for a course that moves quickly without much climbing.
Both events start in separate cities upstream and converge at the same finish area, so the post-race crowd is a mix of people from different start lines. Proceeds support the Delaware and Lehigh National Heritage Corridor, which maintains and expands the trail itself, so the race has a direct connection to the land it runs on.
