About the Cub Scout Pack 3254 Twilight Zombie Trail 5K & Monster Dash
The course runs at twilight through the AOAA property outside Coal Township, so you are moving through the dark as the evening settles in. Costumes are part of the culture here, and there are costume awards alongside the standard age group prizes. The whole setup is a Cub Scout fundraiser, which shapes the mood of the evening considerably.
Hot dogs and snacks are available for purchase at the finish. A short kids' dash runs just after the main race wraps up, right at the finish line area, so families tend to stick around.
