About the CTHS Music on the Lake 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run
Both courses start and finish inside the high school's stadium. The timed distance winds past the band hall and school buildings before picking up a lake trail, while the shorter fun run heads out to the trailhead and turns back. The terrain is a mix of campus paths and a lakeside trail, without any significant elevation to worry about.
Packet pickup opens well before the start in the morning. The school's own band performs live near the finish, and hot chocolate and refreshments are out after you cross. Parking and the start area are on campus, so everything stays close together.

The CTHS Music on the Lake 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run has been held every year since at least 2025. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Sep 10, 2026.
