About the Crush N' Run 5K
The course runs along the beach and the boardwalk, so you get sand underfoot for part of it and pavement for the rest. It is a point-to-point style route that ends near the restaurants that put the whole thing on, which makes the finish feel like arriving somewhere rather than just stopping. The race benefits charity, and the after-party is at one of the host bars.
After you finish, you can bring your bib to the host bar for a complimentary Orange Crush, the drink the race is essentially named for. The start and finish are tied to the restaurant strip, so parking and gathering all happen in the same stretch of the beachfront.
