About the Cromwell Riverport 5k
The course runs alongside the river for most of its length, starting at River Front Park and turning back at Cromwell Landing. The terrain is flat the whole way, and because the route is an out-and-back, anyone waiting at the park can see runners both heading out and coming in toward the finish.
Parking is in a grass lot inside the park, and the start area sits right there at the riverfront. The race is part of a larger local festival, so the finish area has some activity around it beyond the usual post-race quiet.
