About the 4th Annual 2026 Turkey Trot 5k Run/Walk
The course starts and finishes at Heritage Park, winding through the residential neighborhoods nearby. It is a Thanksgiving morning run, timed for those who want splits but open to anyone moving at any pace. Donations to a local food pantry are collected at the start area, making the food drive as much a part of the morning as the run itself.
The race is free to enter, and the organizers ask that you bring a non-perishable food item instead. It runs rain or shine, with cancellations only for genuinely unsafe conditions. Check the race's Facebook group for any last-minute weather updates before you head out.
