About the CRC Mother's Day Half Marathon, 10K, & 5K
The course runs along Trinity Trails, a paved riverside path that winds through Fort Worth. The terrain is smooth and the surroundings are open, with the Trinity River keeping you company through most of the route. Several distance options mean the trail sees runners spread across the morning rather than bunched at a single start.
The race begins and ends at Woodshed Smokehouse, a barbecue spot on the river's edge. The parking situation there is worth thinking through ahead of time, since the lot is not large. Packet pickup details were not something spelled out, but the start area itself gives you a good reason to stick around after you finish.
