About the CraftHalf Half Marathon & 5K
The race starts and finishes outside Foothills Brewpub in downtown Winston-Salem, with the entire block of Fourth Street closed to traffic. The half marathon covers real distance through the city, and the shorter options keep things moving through the morning. A live band starts up and craft beer pours from a number of local breweries as soon as the first runners are off.
Packet pickup happens before race day, and the organizers are clear that race-morning pickup is the exception rather than the rule, so plan accordingly. A parking garage on North Cherry Street is the closest reliable option, since the Fourth Street garage is inaccessible while the block is closed. The block party after is open to anyone, with food and beer available to buy.
