About the Coyote Classic 5K (CC5K) Howlween Edition
This is a Halloween-themed race tied to a middle school athletics booster club, so the crowd skews toward school families. Runners and walkers are equally welcome, and costumes are encouraged, with individual and group categories judged on the day. The route itself is not described in detail, but the event wraps around the school campus.
After the race, the parking lot fills with a trunk-or-treat setup where sponsors and community members decorate their cars. There is also a costume contest to close things out, which makes the finish area feel more like a fall festival than a typical post-race scene.
