About the Corolla Ten Miler & 5K
The course starts at Historic Corolla Park, passes the Currituck Beach Lighthouse, winds through the residential streets nearby, and drops onto a stretch of packed beach where wild horses have been known to wander. The terrain shifts between road and beach as you go. Both distance options share much of the same route.
After the finish, there is music, food, and craft vendors at the park. The post-race scene stretches out a bit, which fits the setting, a barrier island town where most people have made a weekend of the trip.
