About the Corewell Health Pennock Summerfest Run
The race starts and finishes at Thornapple Plaza in downtown Hastings, with the course going out through the surrounding streets. It benefits Corewell Health Pennock Hospital, so there is a genuine local purpose behind the event beyond the run itself. The children's fun run follows the main event, which means the start area stays busy and family-heavy through the morning.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at the Corewell Health Pennock Wellness Center, a separate location from the race-day headquarters. Race-morning pickup is also available at Thornapple Plaza before the start. Both options are offered, so arriving the night before is convenient but not required.
