About the Conqueror 5k: Jingle Jog Edition
This is a fundraiser for a local Christian academy, so the crowd skews heavily toward families connected to the school. The course is on pavement, and both a 5K and a shorter kids' run are on offer, which means the start area tends to be busy with younger children and parents. Age group awards are part of the morning.
The race raises money for the school's own fund, so the post-race atmosphere feels more like a school event than a road race. If you have no connection to the academy, you are still welcome, but expect the energy to be driven by the school community rather than the broader running crowd.
