About the Conquer the Canyon Marathon Race Festival: Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K and 5K
The course mixes paved road and hard-packed dirt trail. The first stretch is hilly asphalt, climbing past a scenic overlook, then the route shifts onto a well-maintained trail with no roots or uneven footing. The marathon doubles back over the same ground, so you get the hills and the views more than once. Several distance options make this a festival-style morning.
Packet pickup happens at the start area on race morning. Parking is off-site near a red barn along a state highway, across from a local ice cream shop and restaurant. It is a comfortable walk from there to the start, so building in a few extra minutes is worth it. Port-a-potties are available in the parking area.
