About the Concord California Turkey Trot 5K

The course at Newhall Park covers a little of everything: grass fields, paved park paths, and city streets. That mix of surfaces keeps the route interesting and means conditions underfoot can change depending on the weather. The race runs on Thanksgiving morning, rain or shine, so dress for whatever the day brings.

Strollers and dogs are welcome, though both are asked to line up at the back of the starting area to keep things moving for those racing for time.
