About the Colterris Wine Run 5k
The course runs through the vineyards at Colterris Winery in Palisade, a couple of loops over cross-country terrain. The footing is uneven in spots, so trail shoes are worth considering, but the route is manageable at any pace. Rows of grapevines stretch out in every direction, and the valley surrounds you the whole way.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at the winery's tasting room and collections exhibit nearby, where wine and food are available. Race-morning pickup opens before your wave. There is a pour of wine at the finish, and age group awards are collected at the registration table rather than announced at a ceremony.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2026 results, this is a decent-sized field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The Colterris Wine Run 5k has been held every year since at least 2025. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
