About the Colonel Challenge 5K Run
The race benefits the athletic program at a local high school, and the course starts and finishes on that campus. The surrounding area is suburban, and the morning draws a mix of people connected to the school alongside regular runners from around the area.
Packets are available the morning before the race at the stadium concession stand, which is the easier option if you want to skip the lines on race morning. Shoe chips are picked up separately on race day. The school lot has ample parking.
