About the Coloma Glad-Peach 5K Run & Walk, 10K Run & Kids Fun Run
The course crosses the Paw Paw River Bridge and winds around Paw Paw Lake, so there is water and open scenery through most of the run. The final stretch on West Street turns into something of a gauntlet, with spectators lining both sides to cheer runners in. Dogs and strollers are welcome but start at the back.
The race runs alongside the Glad-Peach Festival, and the morning has more going on than most race days. The local fire station hosts breakfast after the finish, and the festival carries on through the day with music, a parade, and fireworks after dark.
