About the Cold Turkey 5K and Little Turkeys Fun! Run/Walk

The Cold Turkey 5K runs on Thanksgiving morning at the Tassee Shelter on Ulco Drive in Franklin. The shorter fun run is open to kids and gets going before the main race, so families with little ones can finish up and cheer as the 5K field comes through. The race benefits Special Olympics of Macon County, which draws a crowd that is clearly invested in the cause.

Packet pickup runs the evening before at the same shelter where the race starts, with race-morning pickup available as well. Parking and registration are in the same spot, so there is not much to figure out on arrival.
