The course winds through a collegiate Gothic campus that also serves as a registered arboretum, so the tree canopy in late autumn is real scenery. The grounds hosted the Olympic Games over a century ago, and that history is visible in the architecture around you. The race runs in memory of its founder, raising money for teen and young adult mental health work.
