The race starts at Cobden Community Park, tucked between a couple of old roads on the edge of town. It benefits the local school cross-country and track programs, so the crowd skews toward families with kids running alongside their parents. There is also a short fun run for younger runners, which keeps the morning busy and a little chaotic in the best way.
