About the 2026 CMMS Booster Club Turkey Trot 5K
The course is set at a middle school campus, and you get to choose your own path: stay on the track, which is stroller-friendly, or head out on the all-terrain course through the surrounding grounds. The all-terrain route has some stairs, so it is worth knowing that before you decide. Costumes are part of the deal here, turkey hats and all.
This is a food drive as much as a race. Runners are asked to bring non-perishable Thanksgiving staples to donate on the morning. Concessions are set up at the event, with coffee, doughnuts, and pastries available for purchase. The event is untimed, and everyone from walkers to joggers to stroller-pushers fits in without a second thought.
