About the Clocker Club 5k Fundraiser

The course starts and finishes at the middle school and heads out through a mix of open fields, wooded trails, and paved paths before turning back. The terrain shifts as you go, so it never settles into a rhythm the way a pure road race does. The race benefits school sports programs through a local nonprofit.

The school campus serves as the hub for the whole morning, with registration opening before the gun. A shorter fun run loops the grassy campus for younger kids or anyone who wants something easier on the legs.

Common Questions About the Clocker Club 5k Fundraiser

Will I finish last at the Clocker Club 5k Fundraiser?

Almost certainly not. Half the 3.1 Miles field finished slower than 32:56, and the last recorded finisher came in around 1:04:19, so there is a long tail of runners behind the middle of the pack. Most fields are far slower than people expect.

Is the Clocker Club 5k Fundraiser a good first 3.1 Miles?

It is a small race (160 finishers), which is friendlier and less intimidating than a big-city event, though the field thins out. There is no qualifying time, and the finish-time spread above shows how varied the field really is. If it is your first 3.1 Miles, that spread matters more than the winner's time.

How competitive is the Clocker Club 5k Fundraiser?

The 3.1 Miles winner ran 17:48 while the median finisher took 32:56. That spread points to a mixed field, with a competitive front and a big recreational middle.
