The course runs along Cliff Drive, a state scenic byway through the Historic Northeast. The road winds through tree cover, so in fall the foliage closes in around you. The terrain has real shape to it, with elevation changes that give the route its name.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at a Fleet Feet location, or on race morning at the east entrance to Cliff Drive. Either way, bibs can be picked up for other runners in your group at the same time.
