About the Clear Lake Run Day, Fun Day

The course circles Clear Lake, starting and finishing at a church pavilion on the shore. Along the way it crosses bridges and passes wetlands, oak woodlands, and open prairie. The route is a single loop, so the water is never far, and the surroundings feel more natural preserve than neighborhood road race.

The post-race scene is set up right at the finish area, with kids' activities and a DJ. The whole event benefits a local land conservancy that works to protect the lake's watershed, so the surroundings you just ran through are kind of the point.
