About the 4th Annual Clayton-Henry NPHC 5K Fun Run/Walk
The course runs through Clayton International Park, a setting that reads more like a nature outing than a road race. The route is described as scenic, so expect park surroundings rather than pavement-lined streets. The Clayton-Henry NPHC puts this on to fund scholarships for local youth, so the crowd tends to be people who care about that mission as much as the finish line.
Parking is free at the race site, with overflow parking and a shuttle available if the main lot fills. Check-in opens early in the morning and closes before the warm-up, so arriving with time to spare matters. A live DJ runs a pre-race dance warm-up at the start area.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a small, friendly field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
