The course runs through Downtown West, past the soccer club's practice fields, front office, pavilion, and a stone monument honoring the Mill Creek Valley neighborhood. The finish is on the pitch inside the stadium, which is an unusual way to end a road race. The surroundings are urban and flat, with the club's facilities framing most of the route. There is cold beer at the finish for those of age.
