About the City of Roses Half Marathon & 5K

The half marathon leaves the Osage Center and heads out through residential streets before opening up into the surrounding county, past horse farms, wooded stretches, and larger homes. The route rolls up and down the whole way, so expect some real variation underfoot rather than a flat grind. The 5K runs an out-and-back on a paved trail just east of the start.

Packet pickup runs the afternoon before the race at the Osage Center, with a pasta party available that same evening for those who reserve a spot in advance. Morning pickup is also available at the start. After the race, there are pancakes, coffee, post-race snacks, and locally brewed beer at the finish.
